Through our new distribution facility situated in Sheffield, England, we can supply an extensive range of high-quality catering equipment to hotels, pubs, clubs, offices, restaurants, schools, colleges and cafes at competitive prices and delivered the next working day.

Backed by one of the largest manufacturers and international distributors of catering equipment in the world and using the latest developments in logistics technology coupled with advancements in inventory management software, our Sheffield warehouse can provide a quick, responsive turnaround delivery service to our customers.

 

  • A delivery charge of £5.00 (£6.00 inc. VAT) will be charged for orders below the £30.00 threshold.
  • Next day delivery only applies to specified areas (Zones 1 and 2)
  • Standard delivery only applies to specified areas (Zones 3 and 4)
  • Standard delivery excludes weekends - please select a premium service if you require a Saturday delivery.
  • Orders placed after 3pm Friday and over the weekend will be processed Monday.
  • Standard UK delivery excludes the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. For these areas, please check the remote and offshore delivery information below.

Stock Availability


Most products advertised on this website are stocked items and available for next day delivery from our central warehouse in Sheffield. All products will display an 'In Stock', 'Low Stock' or 'Out of Stock' message on the product listing page.

If a product is 'Out of Stock' an order can still be placed. It will be placed into back-order, and we will despatch it to you as soon as it becomes available. You will also receive an email once it is ready for delivery.

If the cases where a product is only partially in stock, we will deliver the quantity we have available next working day and schedule the outstanding items to be delivered as soon as they become available. You will be advised of which specific items are available for immediate delivery and which are not in the Shopping Basket and Checkout stages.
 

Premium Delivery


Need your order to be delivered on a Saturday, or early next day? 1956 Catering Supplies offers a range of premium delivery services at extra cost. You can select these at checkout.

  • Order must be placed before 3 pm to ensure the premium service can be applied.
  • Premium Delivery is only available in Zone 1

  • Premium service orders cannot be processed after 3pm, Friday. All weekend orders will be processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.

Please note; Premium service orders only apply to stocked products delivered from our Sheffield warehouse.
 

Trade Accounts


If you have an existing trade account with 1956 Catering, your delivery charges will be applied at checkout following the agreed terms of your contract once you have logged into the website. If your delivery charges have not been agreed to in the contract, standard charges will apply.
 

When will I receive my order?


At 1956 Catering Supplies we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service and satisfaction. All orders made before 3 pm on a working day will be dispatched, same day. We also guarantee next day delivery service on all orders in Zone 1 during working days.

For remote areas, offshore and Northern Ireland please allow 3-4 days for delivery.

  • An additional delivery cost for heavy equipment may apply.

  • We cannot offer premium delivery options for remote areas.

  • Please note: our remote delivery service excludes the Faroe Isles and the Falklands.

How do I return a product?


For our returns information click here. Please note, returned items MUST be in a re-sellable condition to be accepted for your refund to be processed.

Items damaged must be reported on the same day of delivery and contact must be made within 24 hours from the time of delivery. Claims made outside this time limit will not be valid. If delivery is received with an item damaged, the delivery note must be signed as 'unchecked' or 'damaged'. All claims must be accompanied by photographic evidence, or they will be considered invalid.
